For years, Delirium Street Party Brass has been bringing its high-energy sound to Calgary, blending the acoustic brass-band traditions of New Orleans with the spirit of pop, rock, and Alberta. Founded by trombonist John Abraham and led by Abraham alongside alto saxophonist Scott Morin, the 2026 edition of the band features an outstanding lineup of some of Calgary’s finest musicians, including drummer Dave Lake, percussionists Sean Buckley and Bob Fenske, sousaphonist Jeremy Coates, and trumpeter Martijn van Galen.
These two special performances will feature guest vocalists and serve as both a live recording and video shoot for a future album release. Joining us on vocals will be Angela Wrigley, Eden Taylor, and—on Thursday night—Maclayne and Sydney Zadravec. Friday’s show will also include the debut of brand-new instrumental pieces.
